Francois Dillinger's 'Fractal Hunter EP' is a three track journey into techno packed with mind altering melodies. The title track is a slithering and hypnotic excursion laced with razor sharp synths cutting through minimal percussion and swelling pads. After Richie Hawtin opened his set at Time Warp with it earlier this summer, he went on to play it as the first track during his debut of CLOSE at Coachella. Crowds across the world continued to respond to the smoldering energy it provided to Hawtin's performances. 'A Thousand Tales' is equally deceptive as it draws you in with thick drums and an extraterrestrial vocal inviting the dance floor to get lost, and find themselves again if they can. This track was equally supported by Hawtin across the world during his most recent tour. Lastly, 'Unidentified' is the energetic apex of the EP - coming straight out of the gate with looping melodies and a massive growling synth that's impossible to ignore
Pairing wonky synths with crisp samples, the California-born, Berlin-based producer specializes in minimal house with a carefree spirit.
